To acquire Testnet WAL tokens for use in the Walrus Testnet, you can use the CLI command walrus get-wal. This command allows you to exchange Testnet SUI tokens for Testnet WAL tokens at a 1:1 rate, which you can then use for various operations including buying storage and staking.

Once you have obtained the WAL tokens, you can check your balance using the sui client balance command. For example, your balance in SUI and WAL can be shown as follows: Sui 8869252670 8.86 SUI and WAL 500000000 0.50 WAL. This helps verify that you have received the Testnet WAL tokens.
