As per the current information, the Walrus Testnet has gone live with support from several community operators globally, but the phase for public nodes, allowing individuals to install and operate nodes, is still in planning with no confirmed dates. To install Walrus, there are options to configure the client for Testnet using the script provided: curl -sSf https://docs.wal.app/setup/walrus-install.sh | sh -s -- -n testnet. Once set up, Walrus binaries should be executable from the terminal.
